These rules are taken from our original site, Fingerprints, and have been altered slightly.
1. Let's get this out of the way: post content. Swearing and violence is permitted, as long as the latter does not get too graphic. Really, who wants to read a post full of gore? As for romance...this site is rated PG-13, so please, guys, keep it that way. Either fade to black, or continue in PMs if you must.
2. Please respect staff. I hired my staff team wisely, and they know what they're doing. Try not to cause too much trouble.
3. No harrassment, threats, racism, or anything that might offend other members. Sometimes, if the case is severe and deliberate, then you will be banned without warning.
4. Only five characters per person, not including daemons. I don't mind whether you keep them all on one account or make a new account for each; that's for you to decide. But for now, we're going to limit them.
5. Activity is a big deal. If you're going to join and then not even post once, forget it. I understand that people have lives, but unless you have posted in the Absenses board, you need to be able to make at least one IC post a week, especially if you are involved in any future plots.
6. Please ask permission from me first before setting any major plots into motion that involve most or all of the site.
7. Please refrain from powerplaying or god-modding. This is when you control someone else's character, make your character invincible, or hurt or kill another character without asking them first.
8. No character is perfect. I don't want to see any Mary Sues or Gary Stus. I shouldnt see a bio with a completely unflawed description and personality.
9. All posts must be at least 200 words. Come on guys, it isn't that hard, and I know that a lot of people can do WAY more than that. The password is collide. I'm going easy on y'all to give intermediates a chance to learn and grow.
10. No spam, wolfspeak(seriously, guys, how stupid will that look when you're roleplaying HUMANS?Though sadly, Ive seen people try) or chatspeak(in IC). To clarify, spam is defined as: -Posting short, senseless OOC posts such as "Lol, I know." -Posting something completely off-topic. -Posting IC posts that aren't long enough to meet the limit.
11. You may not kill another character/another character's daemon without their consent. That would fall under powerplaying, as mentioned above.
12. Not much else to say. Follow these rules, and you'll be find. Oh, and the passwords in here too. But if you read this far, you should have already found it. Have fun!
