Classes

What about a Current Events class? Where students could just discuss events in the news, like wars and such. I'm in a class like that and it is a BLAST!

Or does Stonebrook want to keep its students closed off?

Don't worry! I did too. See above where it says "they should pull a DA and do it in secret." ^^ I love Harry Potter. Can't wait for the sixth movie. My favorite books were 3, 6, and 7.

I so did not catch that until I went back and looked at your post xD I'm so slow sometimes.
My favorite book was 6, and then 4 and 7. I didn't like 7 as much cause, I don't know, it just seemed like such a generic ending. I was hoping for something a little more flashy.

xD It's okay. And I liked the ending because I totally didn't expect it. But the thing about the 7th is that it didn't take place at Hogwarts until the end, and (SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!! Read no further if you haven't read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows but plan to!!!!!) of course, Fred, Tonks, and Lupin dying. I mean yeah, some people have to die for it to be realistic, but WHY FRED?!! And why BOTH Tonks and Lupin? Tonks JUST had her baby, and then poor Teddy loses both his parents! -sob- But seriously, I just mainly hated that Fred had to die! -sobs again-

[same spoiler alert! harry potter nerds having a conversation here xD] oh god, i'd totally forgotten about all of them dying! i read it a long time ago; i don't remember things very easily xD i think i almost cried when lupin died. that just downright sucked. he was my favorite character, after malfoy . and then tonks and fred, yeah, i didn't like that.

Totally. So very sad... And Mad-Eye Moody! I almost forgot about him! He died too... sadness. But you know what's even sadder? Because this actually happened in real life rather than just in the book. The guy who played Dumbledore for the first two movies died after the second movie was finished. It was so sad! He was soooo perfect, and then he got sick part way through the movie and died. So very sad. And just today I found out that one of the actors, Rob Knox, from the sixth movie was murdered! He was stabbed to death outside a bar when he was trying to protect his younger brother. It's amazing and horrifying, the horrible things some people do. -shakes head sadly-

anyways! we've totally dorked up this thread, we should probably get back on topic xDD
i like jade's idea, but i think stonebrook wouldn't want their kids learning about things that are happening in the outside world. maybe they could have one, but sometimes the teachers lie about stuff. like they don't tell them about this or they make up this.

Oh that would be perfect! If they made it look like the whole world hated 'special' people (the students) why would they want to leave? It's diabolical! (Heh heh, love that word)
