Full Name: Aiden Heath Wright. Nickname: None. Age: Eighteen. Date of Birth: February 12. Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Australian Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Blue. Full Description: Aiden is an over all good-looking guy, with a boyish charm in his eyes and smile. His hair is thick and rich, and of normal length for a boy. His bangs hang near his eyes, threatening to interfere with his vision. He hasn't had a hair cut since he's been to Stonebrook. His hair is dark brown, and sometimes it looks almost black. It stands out because of how his skin has paled. When Aiden first came here, he had a dark tan. The kind of tan you get from being in the outback sun all day. But being confined indoors or in a mountainous atmosphere, he has lost that tan. His skin is still smooth, though his hands are rough from a life of work. He is a tall guy. He doesn't tower over everyone, but he's at a good height of 6'0. He's fit, coming from a life of working outdoors, but he has a faded scar across his left shoulder running down to his back. That's from when he was young. When he first tried horseback riding, his horse spooked and he fell off. He then rolled down a nearby hill and gashed his shoulder on a rock. At the time, he was traumitized. But now he just laughs it off. Aiden has bright and piercing eyes. Under his thick eyebrows, they give an intense look. They are light blue in color, like ice. When his skin tans a little, they appear darker. And when he smiles, they look like they're on fire.
Also, Aiden's accent betrays where he's from. He has a thick Australian accent. The way he dresses is typical Australian too. He never gets too dressed up. Jeans and a t-shirt are fine with him.
[d e e p e r] Ability: Telekinesis. Aiden can move objects with his mind. Not every object, though. He can't move something of unreasonable size, like a car. Even if he got something like this to budge, it would take all of his strength. A lot of times, Aiden can't control his power. If he becomes angry, random objects will fly through the air, much to his embarassment and frustration. Likes: -Playing jokes -Laughing -Meeting new people -Girls -Writing -Rock music -Football(or soccer, as they call it in America) -Anything that reminds him of home -Warm weather -Swimming Dislikes: -Being proven wrong -Boredom -Arrogance -Changing -Drama -Rules or guidelines -Cold weather -Pushy or clingy people Characteristics: Aiden's a fun person to be around. He is very laid back and easy going. He likes to just go with the flow, and he doesn't usually get tense when other people do. He doesn't like to pick fights at all, but the rare instances when he does get angry aren't pretty. Mostly because his power goes haywire, and then he can decide to hold a grudge for a long time afterward. But Aiden likes to avoid all of that. He mostly just takes whatever the world throws his way. He's never in a rush, and he's never panicked. That's just the way he is. It's the way he's always been.
He's very curious. Some people would even call him nosy. He likes to know everything about the world around him, just for the sake of knowing. That's why he likes his classes a little more than most of the students seem to. Although sometimes, he can't help falling asleep through half of them. But he has a photographic memory, so when he sees something on paper, he can usually remember it.
Aiden is a friendly guy. He likes meeting new people, and creating connections. He's met a lot of different people over the years, and they never ciese to interest him. He doesn't talk a while lot. He prefers to listen. But he likes a good joke, and is always willing to participate in a conversation. Because what Aiden likes best are jokes. He is very mischevious. He's always thinking up some kind of prank to pull in the hallway or a classroom. He's very good-natured and he doesn't mean to hurt anyone, he just thinks they're funny. Sometimes he gets so into it that he can be a little insensitive though.
His personality is laid back, but physically, he always has to be doing something. He's been kept busy all of his life and he isn't about to stop now. He likes working and feeling accomplished. He is also very independent. When he can, Aiden likes to spend his time outside. He's used to warm weather though, so he doesn't like the snowy cold of winter much.
Aiden trusts people very easily. Sometimes he does this a little too easily. He never really sees deception where it truly lies. Maybe he just doesn't want to. But he's always been one to make friends first, and ask questions later. [d a e m o n] Name: Annelies(anna-LEES) Form: Flying Fox Description: Annelies is an Australian Flying Fox. She has a wingspan of around three feet, which is about normal for females of her species. The fur on her body is very dark grey, like the shade of a tree. Her head is the same color, but around her neck is a mane of bushy orange fur. When the sun hits her, her markings really make her stand out. She loves to stretch her wings in the warm, sunny air. But the rest of the time, she keeps to the shadows and blends in as best she can. Her eyes are also orange, but a spooky halloween-cat shade. They are round, wide, and curious. Sometimes, her eyes almost glow.
Her large, leathery wings bring Aiden's free spirit to life. Of course, she can never go too far away from him, but Annelies loves to fly. Her wings are pitch black, as are the claws that tip them. But they're semi-transparent, again changing her appearance when the light hits her and making them seem almost orangeish. Her ears are pointed, and her snout is long and narrowed. If you were to look at her face and disregard the rest of her body, you would probably think she was a fox. As you might have guessed from her name.
Although Annelies is a bat, she does not have the ability of echolocation. This is normal for all Flying Foxes. But it means that, just like Aiden does, she has to judge things just by looking at them. Like Aiden, she too is quick to judge. But she usually has the opposite opinion of her human. She doesn't like how Aiden is so trusting, and it takes a long time for her to fully relax around someone.
But like Aiden, she is usually laid back. She has a calm attitude and a good sense of humor. She often helps in any pranks Aiden tries to pull off. She too longs for home, and feels out of place in this new environment. Above all, Annelies is very protective of Aiden, as all daemons should be of their humans.
[f i n i s h i n g;t o u c h e s] History: As you already know, Aiden was born in Australia. He lived in Queensland all his life, on a house right on the edge of the outback. He spent a lot of time with his dad outside, learning everything he could from him. Even then, Aiden was inquisitive. He liked interacting with the wildlife around him. Listening to the dingoes yap and watching the occasional herd of kangaroos in the distance were always some of his favorite pasttimes. Also, he loved going out to his uncle's cattle ranch. It was there that he first learned to ride a horse. This was how he got the scar on his shoulder, but to him it was well worth it. He learned what hard work was, and he loved it. And in his spare time, he and Annelies would venture out to the rocks. She'd fly ahead to explore, calling back to him. Each time, he'd take pride in climbing higher and higher. That was the simplicity of Aiden's life.
Like every kid, he went to school of course. But around the time he started kindergarten, his mother died giving birth to his little sister. His little sister survived, though. They named her Melissa, and from then on Aiden was very protective of her. She was always sort of fragile, so he never let her come out with him on his little adventures. That was just the way it had to be. He had to protect her. It just went without saying.
Aiden knew about his power from the time he was young. At first, it just happened when he was angry or scared. When he finally connected the objects flying around the rooms to himself being responsible for it, he began to try to control it. He and Annelies would go outside in the dead of night and try to move the chairs on the porch, or nearby stones. Aiden found that it took a lot of concentration and energy, but he eventually got better at it. Soon, he'd even use it to play tricks on people. He was mischevious even back then. However, he always hid his power from his family. He didn't know how they would react, and Annelies convinced him that the best thing to do was keep quite for now.
So he did. Time passed, and Aiden was growing up. His daemon settled. His father was very proud, because Annelies had retained the family tradition of settling as an Australian animal(Aiden's father's daemon was a wallaby). Aiden went to high school, joined the soccer team, and got a girlfriend. He lived the normal life of every teenage boy. Except behind the scenes, things weren't so normal. Though he could use his power at will now, it still swung out of control with his emotions. Once, during a soccer game, Aiden sent the ball flying into a guy from the opposite team's face, breaking his nose. Aiden then decided to tell his father about his ability.
When his father finally believed him, neither of them were sure what to think. His father told him to supress it, and try not to use it if he could. Maybe the ability would just go away altogether. But Aiden liked his ability, and this was hard for him. When it became very clear that this wasn't going to work, they had to turn to other options.
They first went to an Aboriginal witch doctor, however silly that might seem. But the witch doctor could tell them nothing, in fact he even seemed afraid of Aiden's ability. They didn't know what to do. But when a strange woman contacted them about Stonebrook, it seemed like a dream come true. After a long discussion, Aiden decided that he would attend this school, if only until he could get his power under complete control.
And so he journeyed off to America, and that's how he came to be here. He has been at Stonebrook for almost a year now, and has gained a reputation of being a troublemaker.
Roleplay Sample: (Isnt my best, but I like it cause it contains some emotional depth) Kate can tell Juliet is surprised, though maybe not altogether so. Kate averts her eyes with a slight scowl. She is becoming more nervous all the time. She isn't sure what is worse, knowing or not knowing. It has become silent again, and Kate looks up in an attempt to read Juliet's expression as they walk down the beach, only to find that the doctor is no longer beside her. Kate looks back in confusion and realizes that she stopped walking a few paces ago. Kate pauses unsurely, turning to look back at the other woman with a 'well, there it is' sort of shrug, although she is definately not as casual about this as the gesture shows. She waits expectantly for an answer, her heart pounding. It's as if she expects Juliet to be able to tell whether she's pregnant or not here and now for sure, though she knows this is rediculous.
"With Sawyer?" Juliet finally asks her in blank shock.
Kate looks at her and nods quietly. The fact is part of why she feels so worried. She remembers what Sawyer had told her when she'd confessed her suspicions on their way to the radio tower. 'Well, let's hope you're not.' It had hurt Kate, but she'd known in her heart that he wouldn't react well to it. He isn't that kind of guy. Hell, she isn't that kind of girl. She'd make a horrible mother! Kate hates this, every second of it. She stuffs her hands in the pockets of her jeans and frowns as Juliet asks her about her symptoms. Kate is almost afraid to answer.
"Well, it hasn't been that long since..." She trails off, wondering what the earliest signs of pregnancy include. Kate looks out at the ocean, hoping the sight of the blue water will calm her as she hesitates. Kate decides to just take a deep breath and continue.
"A few headaches..." She admits slowly and fearfully. "I've been...really tired lately." And this in itself is very unusual. Kate is usually the person that always has to be doing something, and can never sit still for long. While once she'd been the one to volunteer to go out on all of those dangerous jungle treks, now she barely ever felt like taking a walk down the beach. It scared her.
"So...do you think I'm...?" She asks, but she can't finish. Password: [ACCEPTED] Other:N/A
